British Academy suggests ways to improve trust in science used for policymaking

Research should be more accessible and transparent to avoid the public mistrusting science used in policymaking, according to a report by the British Academy.

The report, published today, says that the “public’s desire for nuance and transparency in the use of science-for-policy” should not be underestimated.
