Animals in Science Committee asked for advice to help shape government policy

A Home Office minister has written to an independent advisory body for advice on tightening up animal testing regulation.

Andrew Sharpe has asked the Animals in Science Committee to develop guidance that will inform the government’s policy direction on regulation, including the use of decapods—a type of crustacean—in research.
