UK and Korea agree closer ties on AI and data science

Deal on closer research collaboration comes after two countries co-host summit on artificial intelligence

The UK and the Republic of Korea are set to strengthen their research ties on artificial intelligence and data science following a deal between institutes in the two countries.

The UK’s national institute for data science and AI, the Alan Turing Institute, signed a deal on 23 May with the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (Kaist).
