UK publishes roadmap to improve regulation of space sector

Government hopes changes will catalyse innovation and ensure UK is “at forefront” of space economy

The UK government has published a roadmap setting out the ways it plans to improve regulation in space.

In a review published on 16 May, the government proposed recommendations to ensure the UK’s space regulations remain fit for purpose in the face of rapidly evolving technological advancements in the area, including the applications of AI and quantum.
