Government should “more explicitly recognise the UK’s multidisciplinary strengths”, says Academy of Social Sciences
The Academy of Social Sciences has pledged its support to a recent call for a more explicit recognition of social science and better representation of multidisciplinarity within the UK government.
On 10 June, the academy highlighted a recent article on Research Professional News that said the name of the UK’s Department for Science, Innovation and Technology should be changed to make it more inclusive for researchers working in humanities and social sciences.
