Next government urged to aim for highest public R&D investment among leading economies

The next government should aim for the UK to lead the G7 group of major global economies in both its overall and its public intensity of research and innovation investment, organisations in the sector have said.

In the lead up to the 4 July general election, R&I organisations have been releasing manifestos to set out what they would like to see from the next government.
