Pharmacy researcher wins BBSRC innovation prizes

The Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council has named Ryan Donnelly both Most Promising Innovator of the Year, and Innovator of the Year.

A reader in pharmaceutics at Queen’s University Belfast, he won the awards on 20 March for his research into hydrogel-forming microneedle arrays.

Donnelly was awarded £15,000 to support this research, and his department, Queen’s School of Pharmacy, will also receive £15,000.
