The Northern Ireland Affairs Select Committee has relaunched an inquiry into the Irish land border to identify possible routes forward in the UK’s negotiations with the European Union.
The inquiry will build on the work of a previous investigation that ended when House of Commons select committees were wound up ahead of the general election on 8 June, according to an announcement from the committee on 14 September.
“As the EU and UK negotiating positions become ever clearer, the committee will examine what impact their proposals would have on Northern Ireland,” it said.
