MPs on the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee is planning another evidence session as part of its investigation into careers for women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.
At a hearing on 30 October, they will meet representatives of the Institute of Physics, the Equality Challenge Unit, the Daphne Jackson Trust and the Royal Society
The witnesses will include June McCombie, former chair of the IoP’s Project Juno Panel; Sarah Dickson, manager of the ECU’s Athena SWAN Charter; Julia Higgins, chairwoman of the Royal Society’s diversity programme; and Pia Ostergaard, an adviser to the Daphne Jackson Trust.
