MPs urge government to ‘reconsider’ collaboration with CRUK

An early day motion, backed by 13 MPs, asks the government to give “serious consideration” to the benefits to medical research of “genuine collaboration between charitable and government funders”.

Entitled ‘Cancer Research UK’, the motion is sponsored by Labour MP for Mansfield Alan Meale and recognises the £332 million spent by the charity last year.
