The House of Commons Business, Innovation and Skills Committee has called a raft of witnesses to give evidence at its inquiry into open-access publishing.
Witnesses include representatives from Reed Elsevier and the Higher Education Funding Council for England.
Among others, the MPs will hear from Stevan Harnad, professor of web science at the University of Southampton; Martin Paul Eve, lecturer in English at the University of Lincoln; and Ian Diamond, vice-chancellor of the University of Aberdeen and chairman of Universities UK’s Research Policy Network.
