MPs to quiz Walport

Mark Walport, the UK government's chief scientific adviser, is to face the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee on 10 November.

The session is part of the committee’s investigation into the work of the Government Office for Science and the subject of science advice.

After Walport’s appearance there will be an introductory session with Tim Leunig, the chief scientific adviser for the Department for Education, who will be questioned on his department’s work.
