The Conservatives and the Democratic Unionist Party have signed a confidence and supply agreement after two weeks of negotiating.
The agreement will see the DUP backing the minority Conservative government on all motions of confidence; the Queen’s speech; the budget; finance bills; money bills; and lastly, supply and appropriation legislation and estimates.
The DUP has negotiated £1.5 billion in funding for Northern Ireland, which consists of £1bn of new money over the next two years and £500m of previously announced funds, to be spent on infrastructure, health and education in Northern Ireland.
