Lib Dem MP and science committee head tells Research Professional News about leaving Commons politics
After two years as head of the House of Commons science select committee, the respected Liberal Democrat Norman Lamb has now left frontline politics.
“I need a break,” Lamb told Research Professional News on 5 November, his last day as an MP. “I then want to pursue new challenges, particularly in the area of mental health.”
