UK Arpa and fast-track visas for scientists didn’t feature in latest speech, notes Mico Tatalovic
In just over two months, the scale and number of research promises in the Queen’s Speeches of the Boris Johnson government have decreased slightly, but noticeably.
In the latest speech, setting out priorities for the next parliament on 19 December after Johnson’s general election victory, the queen said the government would “prioritise investment in infrastructure and world-leading science research and skills”.
