Policy experts call for renewed efforts to negotiate UK association to Horizon Europe and Erasmus+

European Union R&D programmes would be impossible to replicate on a domestic level in the UK, warn science policy experts, as they call for renewed efforts to associate to Horizon Europe.

The comments come as fears mount that the UK could be excluded from key parts of the 2021-27 programme, as UK-EU trade deal negotiators are yet to agree on the cost of full association.
