Greg Clark, chair-elect of Science and Technology Select Committee, calls for more investment in science

Conservative MP Greg Clark has said the UK should be looking beyond the government’s current targets for R&D spending, despite the sector fretting that they may already be unachievable.

Clark, a former head of the business department, made the comments in his first statement as chair of the Science and Technology Select Committee.
