New chair of Science and Technology Select Committee wants to take meetings on the road
The new chair of the House of Commons Science and Technology Select Committee is keen for it to include social sciences, arts and humanities in its work, and focus on places where research is done.
“My view is very strongly that the social sciences and the arts and humanities are an absolutely crucial part of our research excellence,” Greg Clark, who was elected chair in January, told Research Professional News.
