UK government’s space strategy ‘lacks detail on delivery’

       

Academics say document does not contain information on funding and how ambitions will be achieved

The UK government’s recently published National Space Strategy lacks detail on delivery, funding and skills, experts in the sector have said.

Launched on 27 September, the strategy sets out a long-term vision on both civil and defence space activities, covering issues ranging from cyberattacks and anti-satellite missiles to satellite manufacturing and space launches.
