Science and technology committee urges government action on protecting UK’s “world class” space R&D

MPs have called for urgent government action on a range of pressing issues in the UK’s “world class” space industry which is worth £16 billion, including a call for a “plan B” for EU’s Copernicus programme.

While praising the sector, report from the House of Commons Science and Technology Committee published today, complains of “disjointed and unclear” government space policy, which they say lacks coherence.
