Labour calls political situation with science minister “total chaos” and says “science deserves better”
The UK government is “absolutely committed” to getting a good deal for science whether through association to the European Union’s €95.5 funding programme, Horizon Europe, or through its backup plan B, minister Greg Hands told MPs today.
The country is currently without a science minister after George Freeman’s resignation last week and Downing Street’s rejection of his offer to return to the role.
