Scottish universities awarded £30m for extra postgrad places

Scotland’s education secretary, Michael Russell, has announced £30 million to fund an extra 850 taught postgraduate places at Scottish Universities.

The Scottish Funding Council said in a statement on 27 February that the places, to be distributed between 18 universities, are for courses that “will support industry”.
