Scottish government makes pledge to prostate charity

The Scottish government has pledged to double a £225,000 research fund created by Prostate Cancer UK. The deal could result in £500,000 for prostate cancer research in Scotland.

According to the charity, the money will be used to fund clinical research into detecting the differences between aggressive and non-aggressive forms of the disease.
