The Royal Society of Edinburgh has led a delegation of Scottish academics and businesspeople to meet representatives of Chinese science institutions.
The delegation includes representatives from three of Scotland’s eight government-backed innovation centres, RSE fellows and Scottish business people. The agenda includes meetings with representatives of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Chinese Academy of Engineering and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences.
The society expects reciprocal visits to take place in the future.
