Scottish Covid-19 inquiry gets new chair

   

Neil Brailsford to investigate issues such as pandemic planning, vaccination strategy and testing

An independent inquiry examining what lessons can be learnt from the Covid-19 pandemic in Scotland will now be chaired by judge Neil Brailsford.

Brailsford, a senator of the College of Justice of Scotland, has replaced judge Anna Poole, who was appointed to lead the inquiry in December 2021. Poole quit the role earlier this month, citing personal reasons.
