Welsh government to fund Brexit science preparations

Transition Fund money will help universities and students to cooperate with European Union partners

The Welsh government has announced funding for a series of science, education and health initiatives to safeguard against the impacts of Brexit.

A total of £320,000 will be awarded through the European Union Transition Fund, a £50-million pot established in 2018 to help businesses, public services and other organisations in Wales plan and prepare for the impacts of Brexit, the devolved administration announced on 4 October.
