The UK has joined eight other European nations in backing a paper that calls for Europe to lead the world in marine energy.
“Towards European industrial leadership in Ocean Energy in 2020”, drafted by the European Ocean Energy Association and published on 24 November, was formally backed by governments of Belgium, Denmark, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and the UK.
