Business secretary Vince Cable has announced a fund of up to £125 million to boost advanced-manufacturing supply chains in the UK.
The funding will go to innovative projects in areas such as aerospace, automotive and chemicals. Applications, which open in early 2012, will be assessed by the Technology Strategy Board.
