DECC carbon-capture office gets ‘expert chairman’

The Department of Energy and Climate Change has appointed former BP employee Patrick Dixon as expert chairman of its Office of Carbon Capture and Storage.

Dixon has worked as BP’s refining vice president for the eastern hemisphere and non-executive director of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority.
