Space agreement with Russia signed

The head of the Russian Federal Space Agency, Vladimir Popovkin, and David Williams, chief executive of the UK Space Agency, signed an agreement on 14 July outlining cooperation in space activities.

According to the UKSA, areas where the two countries might work together include establishing a working group of Russian and UK space experts, agreeing to review application issues of the Russian satellite navigation system GLONASS, and joint microgravity experiments on the International Space Station.
