The Technology Strategy Board and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council will invest £6 million in the development of technologies in “high-risk, high-potential approaches” that will grow the aerospace sector.
The TSB will contribute £5m to the research and development funding while the EPSRC will add another £1m for projects with a “significant, high-quality academic research component”.
