Digital focus for fifth catapult centre

The government’s fifth catapult centre will focus on the digital economy and help businesses develop and apply new technologies.

Business secretary Vince Cable made the announcement at the augmented reality firm Holition in Shoreditch, East London, on 26 January. He said the Connected Digital Economy Catapult would also help transfer knowledge to non-digital businesses in sectors such as health, retail and education.
