HEFCE confirms fewer quality assurance reviews

The Higher Education Funding Council for England has announced plans for quality assurance reviews that differentiate between universities.

From the 2013-14 academic year, institutions that have had only one quality assurance review will be reviewed every four years, while universities at least two extensive reviews will be reviewed on a six-year cycle.
