Business survey backs faster procurement reform

The rate of reform of the government’s procurement process needs to pick up, according to the CBI business lobby group.

The call was made after a survey of 100 firms found that on average the reform process was rated at 5 out of 10. The survey was undertaken by the CBI to assess how the government is progressing with its promise to reform public procurement one year on from its white paper on open public services.
