NC3Rs invests £900,000 in carcinogenicity testing

The National Centre for the Replacement, Refinement and Reduction of Animals in Research has awarded close to £900,000 in two grants for projects to develop carcinogenicity-testing methods based on human cells.

The grants will go to pharmacology and genetics researchers Robert Newbold from Brunel University and Gareth Jenkins from Swansea University.
