The government’s Behavioural Insights Team, which is due to close this year, is facing a two-year sunset review by its steering board this summer.
Nick Hurd, the Cabinet Office’s parliamentary secretary, made the announcement on 13 June in the House of Commons. He was responding to a question by Caroline Dinenage, Conservative MP for Gosport, who wanted to know what recent assessment had been made of the team’s work.
