Space technology market on an upward trajectory

Space technology, worth £9.1 billion last year, is making an increasingly important contribution to the UK economy, according to the UK Space Agency.

Its report on the ‘Size and health of the UK space sector’ reveals an average annual growth rate of 7.5 per cent. The continued contribution of space to the economy is a remarkable success in the current conditions, it says.
