The Open Data Institute, which aims to demonstrate and exploit the commercial value of open data, has named Gavin Starks as chief executive officer.
Starks, who founded the environmental intelligence firm AMEE, will join co-directors Nigel Shadbolt and Tim Berners-Lee at the ODI, which is to open later this year.
