The UK will invest up to £10 million in a scheme to develop innovative bioenergy projects, joining seven other European countries.
The €47 million (£38.3m) ERA-NET Plus scheme, a networking initiative developed under the EU Framework 7 programme, is a partnership between Denmark, Finland, Germany, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the UK.
