The Department for Business, Innovation and Skills and the UK aerospace industry have teamed up to commit £3 million each for 500 masters-level degrees in aerospace engineering.
The funding, announced as part of the Aerospace Growth Partnership, will be allocated over three years as a bursary for MSc students to cover the cost of tuition fees up to a maximum of £9,500. The money will go to students who are planning to work in the sector but would not be able to study at the MSc level without a bursary.
