The Campaign for Science and Engineering has urged the Foreign and Commonwealth Office to give its newly-appointed chief scientific adviser more support and a seat on the departmental board.
The FCO announced Robin Grimes, director of Imperial College’s Centre for Nuclear Engineering, as its next chief scientific adviser on 8 February.
