Prime minister Theresa May has brought the combative former education secretary Michael Gove back to the cabinet, in a sign that she is not yet prepared to yield to those in her party who want her to go.
Gove becomes secretary of state for environment, food and rural affairs. Greg Clark, meanwhile, returns as secretary of state for business, energy and industrial strategy and Justine Greening will continue serving as education secretary, the prime minister announced on 11 June.
Other ministers who are back include David Davis, the minister in charge of Brexit, Michael Fallon at defence, Boris Johnson at the Foreign Office, Amber Rudd at the Home Office and Liam Fox at international trade.
