The UK could miss the targets that it set itself for advancing dementia research as a result of Brexit, say respondents to a government review.
The Department of Health and Social Care published an analysis on 22 February of the progress made since it launched the Dementia 2020 Challenge in 2015. One aim of the project is to make England the world leader in dementia research by 2020.
Multiple organisations contributed to the report including Alzheimer’s Research UK, NHS England, the Medical Research Council and the Royal College of General Practitioners.
