Science minister says UK is “now ready to launch new £15 billion global research programme”
The UK’s science minister is going to Brussels tomorrow for what he said was “a last round of talks” on the issue of associating to Horizon Europe, the EU’s €95.5 billion (£80.5bn) R&D programme.
George Freeman also said the UK’s home-based “bold, global alternative to Horizon” is “now ready to launch” with £15bn in government money.
