Major publisher signs initiative against Horizon Europe delays

Swiss-based Frontiers backs “active response” to uncertainties over UK and Swiss participation in EU programme

Frontiers has become the first publisher to sign an initiative formed as an “active response” to major delays in UK and Swiss participation in Horizon Europe, the EU’s €95.5 billion (£80.5bn) research and innovation programme.

The Swiss-based company, one of the largest and most-cited research publishers, has signed up to online signature campaign Stick to Science, which calls for an open, inclusive, and collaborative research and innovation landscape in Europe that is “free from political barriers”.
