Researcher floats idea for slimmed-down REF at RP Live
An expert has proposed that the Research Excellence Framework could be made more efficient with a “REF-lite” option.
Martin Szomszor, head of research analytics at the Institute for Scientific Information, said there could be “a middle ground” between the existing REF and not having a REF at all.
