AHRC council approves structural changes

The ruling body of the Arts and Humanities Research Council has backed plans for major changes in the council’s organisational structure.

The restructuring proposed by a strategic consultation group is a response to the economies forced on the AHRC as a result of last year’s spending review. They include a move from three directorates to two, currently called Resources and Programmes, for which new names will be established.
