Science minister David Willetts has announced collaboration between the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council and the Indian Department of Biotechnology on sustainable energy.
Some £10 million will be spent on solving problems in the production of plants and algae for bioenergy, said the minister on 15 November.
