Grants awarded for adding science to humanities

International teams of researchers from four countries are to receive grants worth more than £3 million to investigate how computational techniques developed for scientific studies can also be applied for use in humanities and social sciences research.

The winners of the second Digging into Data Challenge include scholars, scientists, archivists and librarians from leading universities in participating countries.
