A £60 million fund for universities to help ‘bridge the gap’ between basic science and business was launched by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council on 14 November.
Innovation Acceleration Accounts of between £600,000 and £6m have been awarded to 31 universities, including Imperial College London and University College London, for distribution to the most promising EPSRC-funded research in the institutions.
